Meet Don

There are many qualities and skills that go into being an excellent real estate professional – integrity, in-depth community and market knowledge, marketing savvy, effective negotiation skills and a high-quality professional network. All these qualities I strive for and believe in.  Because I live in my Sun City Festival community, I am proud to say that when we do work, you are my neighbor first, and then we do business.

That said, I’ve also found that providing the very best service is essentially about putting my clients first. This means keeping myself accessible, being a good listener as well as a good communicator, and responding quickly to your needs. If you call me, 95% of the time you will be able to talk directly with me.

This “client first” philosophy has always been my approach and it requires me to continually improve my skills and ways of doing business. In addition, I’ve found that the latest technologies are enabling me to do everything I’ve always done, only much more efficiently, and yet there is still something to be said about good old fashion eye to eye communications, and a hand shake.

About me personally, I was born and raised in central California, attended the College of the Sequoias, receiving an A.A. degree and then transferred to the University of Nevada in Reno and received a B.S. in Business. Spent five years in Los Angeles working in Century City for a large general contractor eventually moving to the northwest United States, and in 1981 settled in Spokane, WA where I spent the next 30 years working in the Banking and Accounting industries. The last nine years were spent owning my own business. I am also a 32 year past member of Rotary International. Became engaged and later married in British Columbia which is our most favorite place on earth. Last, between my late wife and I, we have five adult children and eight grandchildren. Arizona has become our ‘retirement’ state and have enjoyed living and meeting others from all over the world.  Come join us in this great adventure.

So when you decide that you’d like to buy or sell a home in the Sun City Festival area, please contact me.
